Handwriting has always been a challenge with Lilybird. In the beginning it was near about impossible and so we used tools such as Montessori sand trays and sand letters and moveable alphabet to get things done such as spelling. But as time went by we began short stories and handwriting stood in the way of lilybird getting her stories out. So we started typing. Where we still work on handwriting skills we incorporate storytelling and creative writing in lessons that seperate themselves from handwriting and writing.
